Is There a Doctor in the House?
The Ohio House, that is….

The Ohio House of Representatives is made up of 99 members from all walks of life – lawyers, teachers, insurance agents, business owners, retirees, and the list could go on and on.  So it might come as a surprise to learn that there are no medical doctors serving in the Ohio House of Representatives and there haven’t been any for many, many years.  Sadly, there are no doctors in the House.

In a day and age when many Ohioans are concerned about the future of health care policy, there is an urgent need for medical professionals to be active participants in crafting important health-related legislation. Dr. Brad Lewis has been recognized as a leader in the medical field for the last two decades.

Dr. Brad Lewis will bring an unmatched level of health policy expertise to the Statehouse.  He has dedicated his life to serving the needs of his patients and improving their quality of life.  He knows the pressures caused by skyrocketing health care costs and he is committed to making health insurance more affordable and accessible for Ohio residents.

As discussions on heath care policy continue and advance at the Statehouse, we can’t afford not to have Dr. Brad Lewis at the table. Let's take this rare opportunity to have a doctor in the House by electing Brad Lewis this November.

“Dr. Brad Lewis is a dedicated public servant who will provide true leadership at the Statehouse.  I am pleased to support his campaign because I know he’ll make the residents of the 19th District proud.”

-State Representative & Majority Floor Leader Larry Flowers
